FLORENCE, Ala. — The Bellarmine University women's soccer team played to a 2-2 draw with North Alabama on Thursday night in ASUN action at the Bill Jones Athletic Complex.

Brielle Heuglin scored a goal each for Bellarmine (3-5-7, 1-4-2 ASUN), which moved to 0-1-2 in West Division play. North Alabama (2-11-3, 1-5-1) rallied to tie after the Knights took a 2-0 lead in the second half and moved to 0-2-1 in the division.
After a scoreless first half, Kommor netted her third goal of the season in the 52nd minute. Kommor stuck with a rebound off her own shot and slotted the ball into the net for a 1-0 lead.
Heuglin boosted the advantage to 2-0 in the 57th minute on her first goal of the season. Senior midfielder
Sarah Buse made a lead pass to Kommor, whose shot was knocked down by the UNA goalkeeper. Heuglin was there to easily tap the rebound into the net.
North Alabama cut its deficit in half when Alice Bussey made a shot from distance in the 70th minute. The Lions then found the equalizer in the 82nd minute when Kate Wiseman bent in a corner kick.
Bellarmine and North Alabama both tallied three shots over the two overtimes, but neither came up with the golden goal. The Knights held a 12-10 advantage in shots for the game, including 9-6 on frame.
In addition, Bellarmine had a lopsided 12-3 advantage in corner kicks, with four apiece coming in the two halves and four more over the two extra sessions. It was the eighth time the Knights went into overtime this season.
Bellarmine hosts ASUN foe Central Arkansas at 1 p.m. (ET) Sunday. The Knights will celebrate Senior Day.
