LYNCHBURG, Va. — North one-seed Liberty defeated the Bellarmine University men's tennis team 4-0 Saturday in the ASUN Championship quarterfinals.
Bellarmine, the North four-seed, finished 4-20 in its first season in Division I. No. 40 Liberty improved to 18-7.
Liberty won at Nos. 2 and 3 to earn the doubles point. The Flames were then victorious at Nos. 4,6 and 2 singles to clinch the team victory and advance to the ASUN semifinals.
