LOUISVILLE, Ky. — In a cross-town clash to start the season, Louisville topped the Bellarmine men's tennis team 7-0 at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center on Tuesday night.
It was Bellarmine's (0-1) second trip to Louisville (1-0) after competing in the Louisville Invitational this fall. The Knights did not record a victory against the Cardinals despite a close effort from
Paul Reynolds in the first set of his No. 3 singles match against Etienne Donnet.
Reynolds and
Cole Groetsch were down just 5-3 to in their No. 1 doubles match, but did not finish with Louisville already securing the doubles point.
The Knights continue their tough stretch to start the spring with a trip to Indiana on Saturday.
