LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The ASUN on Wednesday unveiled the 2023 conference schedule for baseball.
In its first season under new Head Coach
Chris Dominguez, Bellarmine is primed for 10 three-game conference series split evenly between home and away sets. In 2022, ASUN teams played exclusively inside their respective division in the regular season. That will not be the case in the 14-team league in 2023, as the Knights will play 10 different opponents sans divisions.
Bellarmine's ASUN home series, listed by the Saturday of the series, include Jacksonville State (March 25), Stetson (April 8), North Alabama (April 15), Central Arkansas (April 29) and new member Queens (May 13).
Bellarmine's ASUN road series, listed by the Saturday of the series, include Eastern Kentucky (March 18), new member Austin Peay State (April 1), Lipscomb (April 22), Jacksonville (May 6) and Liberty (May 20).
Kennesaw State captured the ASUN Tournament title last season. The Owls and Liberty earned berths in the NCAA Tournament, and they were also East Division co-champions in the regular season. Eastern Kentucky and Lipscomb were co-champions of the West.
