LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Bellarmine women's tennis team took the court for the second time in as many days on Friday evening, and the Knights fell in a non-conference match at Butler by a final score of 7-0.
The no. 2 doubles team of
Lailaa Bashir and
Cydney Rogers teamed up for a 6-3 win over Delaney Schurhamer and Veronica Bruetting.
In singles action, both
Vendula Kryslova and
Shu Grosso took their matches to three sets, at the no. 3 and no. 6 spots respectively, but came up just short.
Bellarmine stays on the road this weekend with a Sunday trip to Lipscomb for the Knights' third ASUN match of the season – first serve is at 11:00 a.m. ET (10:00 a.m. CT) from Nashville.
