LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Bellarmine University wrestling team will hit the road after a two-match home stand, traveling to Davidson, NC for a dual against Davidson College, Friday, February 2, at 7 pm E.T. before heading to Charleston, SC for a dual at The Citadel on Sunday, February 4.

The Knights continue to pile up the wins, collecting their 12th straight win of the season last weekend, overtaking Gardner-Webb to move to 12-0 on the year. The team's 12 wins are tied for the most in program history, a record set last season when the team went 12-4.

Davidson enters the dual 1-10, having lost each of their last six dual meets. The Wildcats earned their lone win of the season on Dec. 16, a 39-12 victory over Sacred Heart University.

The team will then make their way to Charleston, SC for a dual against The Citadel.

The Citadel is 9-3 on the season and coming off a 35-3 blowout victory over VMI on Jan. 28, snapping a two-meet losing streak. They will face off against Chattanooga on Feb. 1 before Bellarmine arrives on Sunday, Feb. 4.

Bellarmine gutted out its tightest win of the season last weekend, taking a 23-15 battle over Gardner-Webb. The Knights held a narrow 17-15 margin over the Runnin' Bulldogs entering the final bout of the meet. Sophomore heavyweight Thadd Huff was the deciding factor for Bellarmine, securing the win with a first round fall. Huff has ended each of the last two duals with a fall for the Knights.
