QUEENS, NC — The Bellarmine University men's tennis team opened Atlantic Sun Conference play with a 6-1 loss at Queens.
Bellarmine (5-8, 0-1 ASUN) saw its four-match winning streak snapped. Queens (6-5, 1-0) won two of the three doubles matches to secure the point and followed with five singles victories.

Xavier Ecarma and senior
Kyle Tang notched a 7-6 win over Laurenz Blickwede and Filippo Verdese at No. 3 doubles. Sophomore
Vineet Ramesh topped Connor Enslin 6-4, 6-1 at No. 4 singles.
Bellarmine will play another ASUN contest at 2:30 p.m. (ET) March 18 at Eastern Kentucky.
