LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Bellarmine University women's soccer team will welcome Asbury at 3 p.m. (ET) Sunday in its 2024 home opener.

Bellarmine (0-1) will celebrate Senior Day, honoring a class of 13 that includes Brooklynn Allen, Grace Barber, Sophie Bish, Kailyn Bridges, Ashlyn Fuller, Katie Gawrys, Cambria Kingman, Hannah Longstreet, Avery Mahon, Emma Nicholson, Alexa Orozco, Sidney Rigsby and Natalie Schutte.

Asbury (0-0) is a D3 program located in Wilmore, Kentucky. The Eagles are the second of three straight in-state opponents for the Knights, who opened 2024 at Louisville and will follow Asbury by hosting Morehead State on Thursday. The match will be a countable contest for the Knights and an exhibition for the Eagles.

Bellarmine opened the season Aug. 15 at Louisville, the alma mater of Callie McKinney, who made her head-coaching debut. Senior goalkeeper Cambria Kingman tied a D1-era program record with 12 saves against the Cardinals.

Numerous true freshmen made their collegiate debuts against Louisville. Midfielders Brynn Severance and Campbell Tippey and forward McKenzie Carle all started, while midfielders Haley Flynn and Kathrine Lindenberg and defender Mckenzie Price all played significant minutes off the bench. Severance provided Bellarmine's most dangerous scoring chance with a shot that glanced off the right post.
