LOUISVILLE, Ky. – It's been twenty days since the Bellarmine University wrestling team competed, but the Knights are back in action tomorrow night, Friday, January 24th as they open Southern Conference play with a road dual in Buies Creek, NC against Campbell University.

The dual is scheduled to begin at 6 pm E.T. at Campbell's Gore Arena/Pope Convocation Center. All action for tomorrow's dual will be broadcast on FloWrestling with live stats available on Campbell's wrestling page.

So far this season, Bellarmine is 1-1 in duals after opening the season with bouts against No. 2 Iowa and Kent State. The Knights spent most of the fall and the beginning of the spring in tournament play while also ramping up their training in preparation for the dual season.

BU is led in wins by senior Daulton Mayer (285) with 14, followed by senior Cole Nance (174) with 13, redshirt sophomore Grant O'Dell (165) with 12, redshirt senior Devan Hendricks (184) with 11 and redshirt freshman Andrew Liber (197) with 10. Of his team-high 14 wins, Mayer has recorded 10 wins by pin and is currently ranked third in the nation in total pins on the season, behind Lehigh's Kelvin Griffin (149, 15 pins) and Rutgers' Brian Soldano (184, 12 pins).

Campbell is off to a 3-7 start to its season and is 2-0 in SoCon play. The Camels opened their conference schedule last weekend, first taking a 31-9 win over Gardner-Webb before pulling out a 19-16 victory over Chattanooga. In the NWCA's Division I Mid-Major Coaches Poll, Campbell received nine votes and is just outside of the Top 25. Individually, there are four Camels ranked in Intermat's weight class Top 33 in Anthony Molton (#24, 125), Shannon Hanna (#24, 141), Dom Baker (#30, 165) and Levi Hopkins (#31, 197).

Since Bellarmine's transition to Division I, the Knights and Camels have faced off four times with Campbell taking all four previous meetings. Last season, Campbell took a 36-7 win in Knights Hall. The last time the two met in Buies Creek was January 9, 2022 and resulted in a 47-3 win for Campbell.
