SOUTH BEND, In. – The Bellarmine University women's tennis team dropped a pair of matches to another power conference opponent, falling 7-0 and 6-0 to the University of Notre Dame on Sunday.
In the first match of the day,
Lillie Willis took her opponent Maria Olivia Castedo to extra points in the second set of their singles match, but ultimately fell 6-0, 7-6 (8-6).
With the losses, Bellarmine moves to 2-8 on the year while the 2-0 day improved Notre Dame to 9-1 to start the year.
Up next, Bellarmine will return home for a match against Murray State on Friday, February 21 at the Eddie Weber Tennis Center.
