LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Bellarmine University women's tennis team dropped its midweek contest to University of Alabama at Birmingham 6-1 on Wednesday afternoon at the Eddie Weber Tennis Complex.
With the loss, the Knights move to 2-14 on the season.
UAB started the day securing the doubles point after taking wins on courts one and two.
Bellarmine held a 5-4 lead on No. 3 doubles, but the match went unfished with the point already clinched.
In singles, the Blazers collected wins on courts one, two, four, five and six to secure the match victory.
Vendula Kryslova continued her impressive stretch of play with a win at No. 3 singles, taking down her opponent 6-4, 6-4.
Up next, Bellarmine will return to Atlantic Sun Conference play on Friday, March 14 as the Knights play host to Lipscomb.
