LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Bellarmine women's tennis completed its first home weekend of Atlantic Sun Conference play, falling to North Alabama 6-1 on Sunday afternoon at the Eddie Weber Tennis Complex.
With the loss, the Knights move to 2-16 overall, 0-5 in the ASUN.
North Alabama jumped in front early after securing the doubles point with wins at courts one and three.
The Lions continued to tally team points in singles play, winning five of the six matches to claim the match win.
At No. 2 singles,
Vendula Kryslova tallied the lone point for the Knights thanks to her 7-6 (7-5), 7-5 win.
Up next, Bellarmine will take some time off before hosting Queens and celebrating Senior Day on March 28 at the Eddie Weber Tennis Complex.
