JACKSONVILLE, Fl. – The Bellarmine University men's tennis team is set to compete in the ASUN Conference Championships this week, April 17-19, at the UNF Tennis Complex.
The Knights earned a 6-seed after a 7-11 regular season that saw Bellarmine go 3-5 in Atlantic Sun competition. BU will open its tournament run on Thursday, April 17 with a first-round matchup against Florida Gulf Coast who earned the 3-seed. The Knights and Eagles met just last week to end the regular season as Bellarmine fell 4-3 in a tough battle.
With a win, Bellarmine would move on to play Stetson, who earned a bye as the 2-seed, in the semifinals on Friday, April 18.
The Championship round is scheduled for 10 am E.T. on Friday, April 19 and will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
After starting the conference season 0-3, Bellarmine rattled off three straight wins over Queens, Eastern Kentucky and Austin Peay to vault themselves into a postseason bid.

Jack Batchelor was named a unanimous First-Team All-ASUN selection, becoming the first player in the Division I era to earn the honor of unanimous selection and multiple First-Team recognitions. Fellow senior
Brent Reynolds also garnered postseason recognition as he was named to the Academic All-ASUN Team.
