LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Continuing a theme from Saturday, Lipscomb steadily produced runs while claiming an 8-3 win over the Bellarmine University baseball team in an Atlantic Sun Conference series finale Sunday at Knights Field.
After scoring in seven of the nine innings the previous day, Lipscomb (25-25, 17-10 ASUN), which captured two of three in the series, plated one run in each of the first eight innings Sunday against the Knights (13-38, 8-19).
Senior
Casey Sorg collected two of Bellarmine's three hits. He had an RBI single in the third and another in the sixth. Senior
Seth Sweet-Chick accounted for the other hit on an RBI single in the fourth.
Junior
Joey Milto drew three walks for Bellarmine, while senior right-hander
Arren Hash tossed an inning of scoreless relief.
Bellarmine will play at 6 p.m. (ET) Tuesday at the University of Louisville.
