CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. — Austin Peay captured wins of 11-1 and 14-3 over the Bellarmine University baseball team in an Atlantic Sun Conference doubleheader Sunday at Raymond C. Hand Park.
GAME 1: Austin Peay 11, Bellarmine 1
Austin Peay's Lyndon Glidwell struck out nine in 6.0 shutout innings while the Governors (37-11, 21-3 ASUN) amassed 16 hits against the Knights (11-36, 7-17).
Austin Peay steadily built a 5-0 lead through five innings and then broke the contest open with a six-run sixth. The Governors had three homers in the game.
GAME 2: Austin Peay 14, Bellarmine 3
Austin Peay scored six runs in the first and added four more in the third and three in the fourth while tallying 18 hits in completing the series sweep. Jacob Weaver notched a complete-game win.

Nick Gnardellis smacked a two-run homer in the seventh for the Knights.
