KNOXVILLE, Tn. – The Bellarmine University men's tennis team dropped a tough match at Tennessee on Thursday afternoon, falling 7-0 at the Goodfriend Tennis Center.
Bellarmine (0-4) lost its fourth consecutive match to start the spring while Tennessee improved to 3-3 on the season.
The Volunteers got off to a hot start early, winning two of the three doubles matches to claim the team point.
Moving into singles, Tennessee continued to roll, winning all six singles matches in straight sets.

Sebastian Baumann forced extra points in a set but ultimately fell to their UT opponent.
Up next, Bellarmine will make its home debut, hosting University of North Dakota on Saturday, January 31 at the Eddie Weber Tennis Complex.
