LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Down to three scholarship players, the injury-ravaged Bellarmine University women's basketball team was defeated 85-37 by Central Arkansas in Atlantic Sun Conference play Saturday in Knights Hall.

Kayce Hyman tallied a team-high 16 points for Bellarmine (2-25, 0-14 ASUN). It was the eighth time in nine games in which the sophomore forward amassed at least 13 points.

Sophomore guard Ava Smith added 10 points for her third straight performance in double figures. Redshirt junior forward Andrea Chiquemba was nearly a third double-digit scorer, finishing with eight points.

Surging Central Arkansas (16-10, 9-5) won its fifth straight game. The Sugar Bears knocked down 13 3-pointers and received a game-high 21 points from Jenna Cook, who drained five of the triples.

Bellarmine celebrated Senior Day, honoring Miyah Brown, Erin Toller and graduate assistant Clayton Bachman.

Bellarmine will host North Alabama at 5 p.m. (ET) Wednesday.
