Men's basketball announces complete 2026-27 schedule

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Bellarmine University men's basketball team has today announced its complete schedule for the 2026-27 season.

Head coach Doug Davenport, in his second season at the helm of the program, will lead his squad on a 32-game campaign this season.

The Knights will open play with 18 non-conference games before entering their 14-game Atlantic Sun Conference schedule. BU will begin the season with an exhibition game on October 16 at Wright State.

Bellarmine will officially open the season on November 2 at Vanderbilt, the first of three straight road tests. On November 5, the Knights will travel to Bloomington to take on Indiana before rounding out the trip on November 7 at Miami (Ohio).

On November 11, Bellarmine will make its home debut, welcoming Franklin College to Knights Hall. Three days later, on November 14, BU will host Northern Illinois to close out the short first homestand.

From there, the Knights will embark on their longest road stretch of the season, playing six consecutive games away from home. They will open the stretch at Illinois State on November 17 before moving to take on Eastern Kentucky on November 20.

Thanksgiving week is jammed full of action, beginning with a multi-team event at Northern Kentucky where Bellarmine will face off against Georgia Southern on November 24 and the host Norse on
November 25. On Black Friday, the Knights will make the short trip to Indianapolis to take on Butler.

The long road trip finally concludes in-state on December 2 at Morehead State.

Bellarmine will then host back-to-back home games with Eastern Illinois and Spalding coming to town on December 5 and December 10, respectively.

The final five games of the non-conference schedule, and the 2026 year, will start on December 16 at Southern Indiana before the Knights play their final road contest of the calendar year at Austin Peay on December 19.

Bellarmine closes out non-con with three straight home games, hosting IU Columbus on December 21; North Alabama on December 31 and West Georgia on January 2.

With the new year under way, the Knights will get right into action with their ASUN schedule, opening with back-to-back road games at North Florida on January 7 and Jacksonville on January 9.

Bellarmine hosts its first home ASUN contest on January 14 against FGCU with Stetson coming to Knights Hall on January 16.

Three straight road games follow, the longest ASUN road trip of the year. First, the Knights will face off against Lipscomb on January 23 before heading to Queens a week later on January 28 with the final game of the trip coming on January 30 at West Florida.

The Knights return home for another two-game set, this time with rematches against Jacksonville (February 4) and North Florida (February 6).

On February 11, BU makes the trip back to Florida to play Stetson before going to battle with FGCU on February 13.

Bellarmine wraps up its regular season schedule at home, playing each of its final three games in Knights Hall. First, the Knights will welcome Lipscomb on February 20 before hosting West Florida on February 25 and Queens on February 27.

Postseason play at the ASUN Conference Championship is scheduled to begin on March 4.

Season tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, September 16.
