Anna Crump

A Louisville area native and five-year field hockey letterwinner as a Knight, Anna Crump was named the team's assistant coach in July 2025. A product of South Oldham High School, Crump joined Toby Platt's staff after one season playing under him as an assistant coach.

Crump brings in previous coaching experience as an assistant at Mercy Academy and as a club coach at Stealth Field Hockey.
 
In her graduate season of 2024, the former midfield/forward earned Second Team All-MAC honors and a spot on the Academic All-MAC Team for the fourth straight year. She led the Knights in goals (6), assists (4) and points (16). The six goals matched a career high and gave her 21 for her career. The former No. 19 in scarlet and grey tied for 8th in Bellarmine history with 18 assists and ended her playing days as the program's all-time leader in games played and games started (both 80). In fact, she finished her career on a 59-game consecutive starts streak.

As a season in 2023, Crump ranked 6th in the MAC averaging .353 assists per game and tied for 7th in the league with six assists while netting three goals.

In 2022, Crump ranked 2nd on team in shots (38) and shots on goal (22), was 3rd in points (11) and goals (four) and was 4th in assists (three). She also posted a .579 shots on goal percentage.

During a breakout sophomore campaign in 2021, Crump led the team in shots (30), shots on goal (17) and shots on goal percentage (.567). She ranked 2nd on the team in goals (6) and points (15), placing 10th and 9th in the MAC, respectively.

As a freshman, Crump tied for 1st on team in assists (two) while ranking 2nd in points (six), shots (13) and shots on goal (nine) and tying for 2nd in goals (two). She scored her first career goal and assist on March 12, 2021 against Central Michigan.

As a prep star, she played high school field hockey at South Oldham in Kentucky starting in the sixth grade and was a team captain as a junior and senior. She was named Second Team All-State as both a junior and senior and was the leading goal scorer in the state both years, piling up 43 goals as a junior and 37 as a senior. Crump was also chosen as team's Varsity MVP in both junior and senior campaigns. Additionally, she led the Dragons in goals scored as a sophomore with 31. Crump also played club for International Field Hockey Club of Kentucky.
