Michelle Ciliberti joined the Bellarmine University field hockey staff as an assistant in 2019.
The spring of 2021 marked Bellarmine's first in Division I. In 2019, Bellarmine's final season in DII, Ciliberti helped guide the Knights to a 10-8 record in her first year with the program. One of those victories was a 2-1 triumph in overtime over No. 9 Bloomsburg. The Knights put together a six-game winning streak during the season.
After graduating from Sacred Heart Academy, where she was a high school All-American, Ciliberti continued her field hockey career at Michigan State. She won four letters for the Spartans and accumulated 14 career goals and tallied eight assists. During her senior season, she was a team captain and earned Big 10 All-Tournament Team honors. Also accomplished in the classroom, Ciliberti garnered multiple Academic All-Big 10 accolades and earned a spot on the NFHCA National Academic Team three times.
Ciliberti has spent 10 years on the coaching staff at Sacred Heart, including five years as head JV coach. She also is the co-owner of Stealth Field Hockey, a Louisville company that provides opportunities for local and national competition for players aged 10-19.
