BEFORE BELLARMINE: Played high school soccer at Elizabethtown in Kentucky and was a four-year starter at center back and team captain as a senior…Recognized as first-team All-State and as The News-Enterprise’s Defensive Player of the Year his senior year while garnering All-District and All-Region accolades as both a sophomore and senior, when he was also voted the team’s Defensive Player of the Year, the former year after scoring 11 goals…Acknowledged as Academic All-State and All ‘A’ Honor Roll from freshman through senior years…Team swept 17th District and 5th Region titles his sophomore through senior seasons…Lions Club celebrated him as a Student of the Month…Played club soccer for Javanon ’03 Black and was team captain from freshman through senior years while being named the Boys’ Kentucky Youth Soccer Player of the Year his final season…Team captured two state titles and advanced to Midwest Region finals his senior year…Made Kentucky ODP roster and traveled to Dortmund, Germany and The Netherlands, where he started all three games as team went undefeated…Played baseball one season in high school and was member of Beta Club and Spanish Club and Y Club.
