Hobbs' triple-double helps lead Knights to GLVC Finals

The Bellarmine University men's basketball team got a triple double from sophomore guard Braydon Hobbs to the lead the Knights to an 85-65 victory over No. 22 Drury in the Great Lakes Valley Conference semifinals.

The Knights jumped to a 31-11 lead in the first 10 minutes of the game before the Panthers came back to trim the margin to 41-34 at the half.  In the second period, Bellarmine reasserted themselves by racing to a 19-point lead less than three minutes into the half.   
 
Hobbs tallied 13 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds to record the triple double and tie a GLVC tournament record for most assists in a game.  Bellarmine's Jeremy Kendle and Luke Sprague paced the Knights with 16 points apiece. 
 
Drury (23-6) was led by Chase Elliot and Dennon Mitchell with 14.
 
Bellarmine (21-8) advances to meet Kentucky Wesleyan in the finals after  the Panthers defeated Northern Kentucky 81-76 in the other semifinal.
