LOUISVILLE, Ky. --- The Bellarmine University women's basketball team will look to get on track in Great Lakes Valley Conference play this weekend as they hit the road for a pair of tests at Drury on Thursday and at No. 24 Missouri S&T on Saturday.

Battling through injuries, the Knights post an even 6-6 record but are 0-4 in the GLVC. They have played tough in conference play though, with three of their four GLVC losses being decided by three points or less. Bellarmine was missing two starters last time out against William Jewell as Kylie Brady and Therese Montano sat out with injuries.

If Brady and Montano cannot go this weekend, the Knights will lean heavily on senior Allison Matheis and junior Betsy Goodin. Matheis continues to light it up from behind the arc, hitting an average of 2.6 3-pointers per game while shooting 44.9% from the 3-point line. Meanwhile, Goodin is coming off a season-high 17 points in her first start of the season against William Jewell. She has shown the ability to break down defenses and get to the rim, but also drawing fouls, ranking second on the team in free throw attempts.

Drury (9-4, 4-1 GLVC) come into Thursday's contest after picking up wins against Kentucky Wesleyan and Southern Indiana last week. The Panthers have a 3-point specialist of their own in the form of junior Katie Pritchard. After sitting out last season, Pritchard has hit 26 of her 49 (.531) attempts on the year and two years ago led the nation in 3-point percentage at 50.5%. Both the Knights and Panthers have played McKendree University, with both teams pulling out wins. Bellarmine downed McKendree 69-67 in the United Electric Tip-Off Classic, while Drury handed the Bearcats a 68-61 loss on Jan. 2.

On Saturday, the Knights will see their toughest opponent to date, in the form of the No. 24 Missouri S&T Miners. Led offensively by 5-11 Hailee Parks's 14.4 points and 7.5 rebounds, the Miners play lockdown defense, holding their opponents to just 52.4 points a game. Last season, the Miners survived Bellarmine's upset bid in Rolla, Mo., edging out the win 62-57 in overtime.

The Knights and Panther's will do battle at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday night in DU's O'Reilly Family Even Center as Sunday's matchup with Missouri S&T scheduled for a 2:00 tip.
