LOUISVILLE, Ky. --- The Bellarmine University women's soccer team will look to collect two Great Lakes Valley Conference wins this weekend, hosting Drury University on Friday and Missouri S&T on Sunday.

Bellarmine (7-2, 5-2 GLVC) will need both wins if they want to make up ground in the conference race, currently sitting in fourth place in the standings behind Rockhurst, William Jewell, and Quincy. The Knights dropped a 2-1 decision to Quincy on Sept. 14 and will travel to Rockhurst and William Jewell later in the season.

After not tallying a point in the season's first four games, sophomore Emily Hollander has raised her level of play, registering four goals and three assists in the last five games including a three goal, one assist outburst against St. Joseph's.

Another sophomore Abby Janszen could be poised for a big weekend scoring four goals and adding an assist in games again Missouri S&T and Drury last year on her way to earning GLVC Player of the Week honors. So far this season the Burlington, Ky. native has scored two goals and ranks second on the team in shots.

The Panthers (6-3-1, 4-3-1 GLVC) will bring with them the GLVC's leading goal scorer in sophomore Shelby Hatz who has already scored 10 goals in 2012. Last time out, Drury netted five goals en route to a victory over Missouri-St. Louis with two coming from Hatz. Bellarmine, who is outshooting their opponents 142-69 on the year, will look to put constant pressure on DU's freshman keeper Kelsey Vaught, who has four shutout victories so far.

Missouri S&T (5-5, 3-5 GLVC) snapped a four game losing skid on Sunday, besting Maryville 1-0 and fell 5-0 to the Knights a season ago. Led by Kimberly Elkholm's 7 points, the Miner's roster features 21 freshmen and sophomores.

Friday night's contest is scheduled for a 3:55 p.m. start time.
