ST. LOUIS — The Bellarmine University men's soccer team suffered a 5-2 loss to Missouri-St. Louis on Friday at Don Dallas Soccer Field in Great Lakes Valley Conference action.
Freshman midfielder
Magnus Bertilsson registered a goal and an assist for Bellarmine (10-6, 8-5 GLVC), while sophomore defender
Mike Albes added a goal.
DJ Bednar and Tyler Collico scored two goals apiece for Missouri-St. Louis (7-6-2, 6-5-2). The Tritons led 4-0 at halftime.
In the second half, Bertilsson assisted to Albes on Bellarmine's first goal and scored the Knights' second one.
The Knights actually outshot the Tritons 27-15, including 13-7 on goal. BU is now tied for fourth in the GLVC.
Bellarmine will play at 3:30 p.m. (ET) on Sunday at Maryville.
