KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Bellarmine University men's soccer team saw its four-game winning streak snapped as seventh-ranked Rockhurst scored in the first overtime to deal the Knights a 1-0 loss in Great Lakes Valley Conference play.
Bellarmine (6-3, 4-2 GLVC) threatened unbeaten Rockhurst (6-0-1, 6-0), but the Hawks managed to score in the 97th minute as Connor Mullen directed a header into the net off a corner kick from Kaleb Jackson.
Defense ruled the match, with a minimum of shots on goal. Rockhurst only managed three attempts on frame, while Bellarmine didn't have any chances. The Hawks tallied 12 total shots to three for the Knights.

Joe Workman had a pair of shots for the Knights, while sophomore midfielder
Callum Southern added another.
Freshman goalkeeper
Zach Pogue had two saves for Bellarmine. Logan Feldmann earned the shutout.
Bellarmine hosts Saint Joseph's on Friday and Indianapolis on Sunday on Alumni Weekend.
