SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — The visiting Bellarmine University men's soccer team tied Drury 1-1 on Sunday in Great Lakes Valley Conference play.

Luke Mocherman scored for Bellarmine (5-7-3, 4-6-2 GLVC) off an assist from sophomore midfielder
Magnus Bertilsson. The Knights this weekend tied both Missouri S&T and Drury (9-2-3, 7-2-3), who each entered in the top 4 of the league standings.
Both teams scored in the first half. Bellarmine struck first when Mocherman converted a pass from Bertilsson for a 1-0 lead in the 17th minute. It was Mocherman's fourth goal of the season.
Drury tied it up in the 26th minute when Ivan Borka finished off a corner kick.
Neither team would score thereafter. Bellarmine finished with a 7-1 advantage in shots on goal and 15-12 edge in total shots.
Bellarmine plays Friday at Illinois Springfield and hosts McKendree on Sunday.
