KIRKSVILLE, Mo. — The Bellarmine University men's soccer team suffered a 1-0 loss Friday at Truman State in Great Lakes Valley Conference play.
After a scoreless first half, Truman State (3-1-1, 1-1) scored against Bellarmine (2-3-1, 1-2) in the 79th minute when Tristyn Hasmer converted off a corner kick from Craig McLaurine.
Making its road debut in conference action, Bellarmine owned a 12-10 advantage in shots but was shut out for the second-straight match. Both teams tallied three shots on goal. The Knights also had a 4-3 edge in corner kicks.
Bellarmine plays at 3:30 p.m. (ET) Sunday at Quincy.
