ST. CHARLES, Mo.—The host Lindenwood Lions roared out of the gate, taking an early 3-0 lead, then held on to defeat the Bellarmine Knights 3-1 in an Eastern College Athletic Conference game today at Hunter Stadium.
The hot start by Lindenwood saw the hosts hold a 9-0 advantage in shots at one point as they led 3-0 at halftime, outshooting the Knights 11-4 in the opening period.
