LOUISVILLE, Ky. — 
Joseph Naville delivered in the clutch Saturday for the Bellarmine University men's tennis team as the Knights freshman clinched a tight 5-4 victory over Hanover at the Eddie Weber Tennis Complex.
Playing at No. 6 singles with the team score knotted at 4-all, Naville fended off Mitchell Minniear for a 6-3, 7-6 win that secured the match for Bellarmine (2-2) against the Panthers (0-3).

Matt Momper and freshman 
Nick Johnson recorded two victories apiece for the Knights. Sophomore 
Andrew Jones and freshman 
Sam Rueff added one win apiece.
Bellarmine led 2-1 after doubles play as Momper and Rueff scored an 8-4 win over Jonathan Helmers and Dakota Smith at No. 1, and Johnson and Jones teamed for an 8-5 triumph over Brent Barrett and Alex Bates at No. 2.
Momper, at No. 2, and Johnson, at No. 4, won in straight sets in their singles matches, but Hanover won at Nos. 1, 3 and 5 to tie the contest at 4-4 and set the stage for the deciding match between Naville and Minnier.
Bellarmine meets Campbellsville on Friday at the University of Louisville.
