LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Bellarmine University men's tennis team was recognized for its performance in the classroom as the Knights earned 2026 Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division I All-Academic Team honors.
Bellarmine was one of 162 Division I men's tennis programs nationwide to receive the distinction. To qualify as an ITA All-Academic Team, a program must record a team grade-point average of at least 3.2 for the academic year, with all varsity letter winners included in the cumulative team GPA.
The honor marks the third time Bellarmine has been named an ITA All-Academic Team. The Knights also received the recognition following the 2020-21 and 2022-23 academic years.
All eight members of Bellarmine's roster also earned individual recognition as ITA Scholar-Athletes. The Knights' honorees were Sebastian Baumann, Colby Berson, Alex English, Matthew Nice, Ryan Parkins, Vineet Ramesh, Zak Vince and Eli Wood.
To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, a student-athlete must maintain a GPA of at least 3.5 during the academic year and be listed on the institution's eligibility form. A total of 1,008 Division I men's tennis student-athletes earned the honor in 2026.
