INDIANAPOLIS — Members of the Bellarmine University women's tennis team won a match in each singles and doubles flight over the weekend at the Butler University Fall Invite.
Junior
Jennifer Skonieczny competed in the No. 1 singles flight, senior
Maggie Walroth in the No. 2, junior
Ashley Jonathan in the No. 3, sophomore
Ava Ratcliff in the No. 4, sophomore
Aubrey Smith in the No. 5 and freshman
Madison Devillez in the No. 6. All six players collected one win in their respective flight.
Walroth and Jonathan, in the No. 1 doubles flight, Skonieczny and Ratcliff, in the No. 2, Smith and Devillez, in the No. 3, all achieved one victory in their respective flight.
With two victories at the tournament, Walroth has tied
Marissa Kovach (2014-18) for No. 1 on the program's all-time wins list with 121. She'll have the opportunity to set a new record at the Grand Valley State-hosted ITA Tournament, which unfolds Saturday-Monday.
Bellarmine joined Butler, Indianapolis and DePauw at the Fall Invite.
