Maggie Walroth became the program's career wins leader, and the doubles team of sophomore
Aubrey Smith and freshman
Madison Devillez advanced to the B Flight semifinals at the ITA Regional Championships.
At host Grand Valley State, Walroth won an A Flight consolation match to boost her career wins total to 122, one more than
Marissa Kovach (2014-18). The three-time All-Great Lakes Valley Conference selection has collected 67 career doubles victories and triumphed 55 times in singles play.
Smith and Devillez advanced to the B Flight semifinals in doubles action after earning wins over teams from GLVC colleagues Southern Indiana and Missouri-St. Louis.
Devillez also pushed her way to the B Flight singles consolation semifinals after securing three consecutive victories as she won each match in straight sets and won every set either 6-1 or 6-2. Smith earned a B Flight singles win.
Junior
Jennifer Skonieczny earned three hard-fought wins, including the last in a tiebreaker, to advance to the A Flight consolation semifinals in singles play. Skonieczny and sophomore
Ava Ratcliff also moved to the doubles semifinals in the A Flight consolation.
