LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Bellarmine University's Adam Eberhard has been recognized as first-team All-Midwest Region by the Division II Conference Commissioners Association.

This is the second straight season the Evansville, Indiana, native has garnered first-team accolades from the D2CCA while he earned second-team plaudits as a sophomore. The senior forward recently was acknowledged as first-team All-Great Lakes Valley Conference for the third consecutive year.

Eberhard leads Bellarmine in scoring (17.4), assists (4.4) and blocks (20 total) and is second in rebounding (5.0). He's shooting 60.1 percent from the floor and 86 percent from the free-throw line. The product of Memorial (Ind.) High School received four GLVC Player of the Week notices this season and was the DII Bulletin Player of the Month for January.

Eberhard has helped lead Bellarmine to a 26-4 record, the team's third GLVC Tournament title in a row and the No. 2 seed in the NCAA Midwest Regional.

Eberhard's GLVC colleagues Kendale McCullum of Lewis and Alex Stein of Southern Indiana joined him on the first team along with Findlay's Alex White and Davenport's Dyllon Hudson-Emory. White was named Midwest Region Player of the Year in voting conducted by the region's sports information staffs.

Walsh's JT Shumate, Ashland's Drew Noble, Northern Michigan's Isaiah Johnson, Ohio Dominican's Hasan Varence and Lake Erie's Gabe Kynard were named to the second team.
