CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. — Division I Northern Kentucky downed the visiting Bellarmine University men's tennis team 6-1 on Saturday.

Freshman Eli Franks won 6-4, 6-3 over Nick Elleman at No. 6 singles for Bellarmine (4-3), which faced its second DI opponent in as many days after competing Friday against Dayton. There were tiebreakers in two other singles matches.

Bellarmine will play Friday at West Virginia Wesleyan.
