Penn named to All-Tourney Team for Good Sam Empire Classic

LAS VEGAS—At the conclusion of the Good Sam Empire Classic, an All-Tournament Team was announced, and Bellarmine's Dylan Penn was among the five players honored.
 
The event field included No. 1 Gonzaga, No. 2 UCLA, Bellarmine and Central Michigan.  Gonzaga won the event after beating Central Michigan and UCLA.  The Bellarmine Knights finished 1-1 after falling to UCLA in the opener and besting Central Michigan on the second day.
 
Penn turned in stellar performances in both games.  Against UCLA, he scored a game-high 19 points to go along with eight rebounds and six assists.  He backed that up with 27 points, five rebounds and five assists against the Chippewas.
 
Gonzaga's Andrew Nembhard was selected as the tourney's Most Valuable Player after pouring in 24 points and dishing out six assists as the Bulldogs knocked off UCLA 83-63 on Tuesday night.  He was joined on the All-Tournament Team by teammates Chet Holmgren and Drew Timme along with Penn and UCLA's Jaime Jaquez, Jr.
 
The Good Sam Empire Classic benefiting Wounded Warrior Project presented by Continental Tire was played Nov. 22 and 23 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
