LOUISVILLE, Ky.—The Bellarmine men's basketball program has announced its summer 2022 Skills Camp schedule with four sessions planned for June and July.
 
Camp will focus on teaching fundamentals of basketball the "Bellarmine Way." The camp is designed to build basic skills in a fun and teaching environment.  Campers will be shown how to take their skills into different individual contests and team play from "2 on 2" up to "5 on 5."  Participants are grouped by age, grade, and ability level, all campers will receive equal playing time.
 
Each Friday morning of camp will feature "Dunks and Donuts."  Parents will be encouraged to join their campers to watch the last segments of our team practice so campers can see the skills and drills they've been taught transition over to Division 1 College Basketball live and in person. We will encourage parents to come in and watch with their campers. Coach Scott Davenport will be available for questions from parents after practice each week.
 
COMPLETE 2022 SKILLS CAMP SCHEUDULE:
Session 1: June 6-10 (for rising 2nd to 8th graders—fall of 2022)
Session 2: June 13-17 (for rising 2nd to 8th graders—fall of 2022)
Session 3: July 11-15 (for rising 2nd to 7th graders—fall of 2022)
Session 4: July 18-22 ((for rising 2nd to 7th graders—fall of 2022)
 
Individual sessions will run Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 9-noon on Fridays.
 
PRICING
 
Price is $250, but a discounted rate of $210 is being extended to "early bird shoppers" for registering before 12/25/21 (Christmas Day.)

Bellarmine basketball also is sponsoring "camper night" at the Dec. 21 game when the Knights take on Loyola Marymount at Freedom Hall.  (Details on camper night are still being finalized.)
