MIAMISBURG, Ohio — Dayton bested the Bellarmine University men's tennis team 6-1 on Friday at the South Regency Tennis Center.

Paul Reynolds won in a tiebreaker over Erik Eliasson at No. 3 singles for Bellarmine (3-9). The No. 3 doubles match went unfinished with freshmen
Emil B. Berglund and
Eli Franks holding a 5-4 lead against Dayton (5-4).
"The guys fought but it just wasn't their day," Knights Coach
Will Davis said. "We are putting ourselves in positions to capitalize and now just need to get over that last hump."
Bellarmine plays Sunday at Youngstown State.
