LOUISVILLE, Ky. — In its first season in Division I, the Bellarmine University men's soccer team has landed on the national radar.
For the first time in the D1 era, Bellarmine received votes in the United Soccer Coaches' Top 25 rankings. The Knights garnered 13 votes in the latest poll, ostensibly placing them at No. 33 in the country.
Bellarmine had already carved its way into the United Soccer Coaches' regional rankings, jumping from No. 6 to No. 2 in the Atlantic Region listings.
Bellarmine is 3-2 overall and 2-0 in the ASUN. The Knights are on a three-game winning streak, defeating league counterparts Lipscomb 1-0 and Liberty 2-1 in overtime before securing a 2-1 nonconference win over Dayton.
