LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Bellarmine swimming competes in its final home duals of the season on Friday afternoon against Ball State.  The action begins at 12:00 p.m. at the Mary T. Meagher Aquatic Center.

This also represents the final meet of the regular season for the women's team, while the men will travel to the Butler Invitational in Fishers, Ind. on Sunday.  The Butler Invitational is an eight-team competition including Saint Louis University, Xavier, Hillsdale, Ball State, Youngstown State, Illinois State, Indiana State, and the Knights.  Competition begins at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Ball State's men's team (1-1) picked up its lone win against Eastern Illinois, a team Bellarmine also defeated.  That win for the Cardinals on Oct. 29 was their last dual.  Thus, Friday will mark their first dual in three months.  The Ball State women's swim team (2-2) has wins over Eastern Illinois and Toledo.  The Cardinals' women's team was last in the pool against Eastern Michigan on Saturday and fell 167-133.

The men's team for BU has dropped its last two and is 2-3 on the season, while the women's team is 3-5 after two consecutive losses.  There has still been plenty of individual success, especially from the seniors for both squads.
