JACKSONVILLE, Fl. – Freshman
Ahmet Efe Inceoglu has earned the Atlantic Sun Conference's Men's Swimmer of the Week award, the league office announced on Tuesday.
Inceoglu has had an impressive start to his collegiate career. He ended Bellarmine's fall schedule last weekend with a first-place finish in the 200-freestyle at the A3 Performance Invitational, setting a school record with a time of 1:36.58. In addition, he set a school record in the 100-freestyle as the leadoff man in the 400-free relay, swimming in 44.00. The relay team also set a school record with a 3:01.08 finish.
The award is the first of his career and first of the season for the Knights. The last Bellarmine swimmer to earn an ASUN Swimmer of the Week award was
Evan Dickson in February 2025.
