PEORIA, Ill. — The Bellarmine University cross country teams put the cherry on top of a strong regular season Friday as the Knights squads combined for five all-time top-50 performances in the Bradley Pink Classic at Newman Golf Course.

For the second straight meet, Nolan Hester recorded the third-best 8k time in program history. In the Men's Red Race, the sophomore clocked a 24:11.3 and finished 36th overall. Hester remains second on the program's 8k performance list (measures PR), only now with a better time.

Wil Stamm delivered an all-time top-15 performance as well. The sophomore posted a 24:53.7 that ranks 13th in program history. Stamm placed 99th overall.

The women's distance bumped up to a 6k. Once again, as she has every meet this season, Emma Wells altered the record book. This time, the senior registered the 17th-best 6k time in program history after finishing in 21:44.2 in the Women's Red Race. Wells placed 67th overall and moved up to sixth on the performance list.

Senior Ellie Schroeder and freshman Sierra Oesterling made it a siege on the record book. Schroeder's 22:13.6 represented the 37th-best time in program history, while Oesterling's 22:15 is tied for 38th. Schroeder and Oesterling broke into the performance list back-to-back at 12th and 13th. They placed 122nd and 127th, respectively.

Junior Anna Wells (183rd, 22:51.0) and sophomore Trisha Sexton (187th, 22:54.9) rounded out Bellarmine's top 5 in the Women's Red Race, while junior Nick Lewis (158th, 25:23.5), sophomore Jackson Gawarecki (168th, 25:28.1) and freshman Nolan White (208th, 25:54.8) filled out the top 5 in the men's version.
