LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Bellarmine swimming will host for the first time this season, as the Knights compete in the Bellarmine Invitational on Friday and Saturday at the Mary T. Meagher Aquatic Center.
Gardner-Webb, Southern Indiana, and Florida Gulf Coast will face off against the Knights, with action slated to begin at 5:00 p.m. on Friday and 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
Senior
Jacob Dray was named CCSA Men's Swimmer of the Week on Tuesday thanks to his strong performances in last weekend's double dual at Eastern Illinois. Dray's impressive outing was one of many for Bellarmine, as the Knights racked up 13 first-place finishes between the men's and women's squads. Each team also picked up their first dual victories of the season.
Last Time Out (Double Dual vs. EIU and Valparaiso)
Both teams faced off in against Eastern Illinois and Valparaiso in double dual format at EIU's Padovan Pool.
The Bellarmine women defeated Valparaiso 159-69 and lost to host EIU 148-111. The men's team earned two victories, topping EIU 157-104 and Valparaiso 181-80.
The Knights certainly impressed, with seven men's swimmers and six women's swimmers winning their individual events.

Alexandra Pierce - 100 breaststroke (1:07.74) and 200 breaststroke (2:23.75)
