ORLANDO, Fl. – Bellarmine University swimming wrapped up another successful Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament week, collecting nine new school records at Rosen Aquatic & Fitness Center.
After five full days of competition, the men and women's teams combined for nine new school records, with two being set and reset in the event.
Overall, the men placed sixth and the women ninth. Queens and Florida Atlantic University shared the men's title with 782.5 points while Delaware took the women's title with 1627 points.
Action started on Wednesday with the Knights setting three records. The men's 200 medley relay was the first to fall when junior

Reece Pennington and freshman
Ahmet Efe Inceoglu combined for a time of 1:29.64. Later in the day, freshman
Yael Bojalil broke the 500 freestyle record with a time of 4:29.65. Sophomore
Ava Jones was the first of the women to set a record, turning in a 23.69 50 free.
On Thursday, three more records fell. The women started the day with a new best time in the 200 freestyle relay with Jones, sophomore

Lauren Diercks and
Erin Dall'Agnol registering a time of 1:35.82. Inceoglu etched his name in the record book again with his 200 free time of 1:36.30, good enough for fourth place in the event. Diercks closed out the day with a new best in the 100 backstroke, swimming in 56.22.
The men worked for another relay record on Friday when Inceoglu, juniors
Evan Dickson and
Britton Pianki and Bojalil combined for a 6:34.85 in the 800 free relay. Diercks decided her Thursday preliminary 100 back time wasn't fast enough so, she came back and swam an even faster 55.89 in the finals to take ninth place.
Saturday and Sunday saw just one school record set each. On Saturday, Inceoglu not only set the record in the 100 freestyle, but he also broke his own time later in the day, taking 11
th place. He first swam a 43.92 before besting himself with a 43.78. Jones set the final record of the week on Sunday, swimming a 51.69 in the 100 free.
