LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Bellarmine University women's soccer team will welcome Stetson for a 7 p.m. (ET) contest Thursday in its penultimate home game of the regular season.

Bellarmine (0-4-8, 0-1-4 ASUN) and Stetson (5-6-1, 2-1-1) are meeting for the second time in the Division-I era. The Hatters captured last season's meeting 1-0 in DeLand, Florida, after netting the golden goal with just under five minutes left in the second overtime.

Bellarmine's matchup with Stetson comes during its final homestand. The Knights' last regular-season contest in Owsley B. Frazier Stadium will unfold Sunday against FGCU. They wrap up the regular season with three straight road games.

Stetson is tied for fifth in the ASUN after claiming a 2-1 win over Queens, a 4-3 victory over Jacksonville and deadlocking 1-1 with Liberty. The Hatters fell 3-1 to North Florida at home in their most recent match on Sept. 25. Their Oct. 1 home game against FGCU was postponed due to Hurricane Ian.

Fourteen different players have scored for Stetson, and 10 different players have supplied at least one assist. Kyleigh Thelen, Hanna Arvay and Lea Alexander have collected two goals each and the Hatters have accumulated 19 overall, which ranks third in the ASUN.

Bellarmine just faced the conference's highest-scoring unit in Lipscomb, falling 3-0 on the road. The Knights' defense still ranks second in the league in goals-against average at 0.75 and third in shutouts with six.

The loss to Lipscomb was only the second time in 12 games that Bellarmine conceded more than one goal. No opponent had registered multiple goals against the Knights since Wright State scored twice in the season opener.

Senior Sarah Kraus and redshirt freshman Sidney Rigsby, the team's two center backs, reached 1,000 minutes played for the season against Lipscomb.
