JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Bellarmine University sophomore forward
Katie Paulakonis has been acknowledged as the ASUN Player of the Week for women's soccer, the league announced Monday.
Paulakonis scored a pair of goals, including the game-winner, in Bellarmine's 3-2 win Sunday at Lipscomb. It was the Knights' first-ever road win over the Bisons.
Paulakonis found the net once in each half. It was her second brace of the season after also recording one against Morehead State.
The native of Hillsborough, North Carolina, is tied for second in the ASUN in both goals (six) and points (15). The ASUN POW accolade is her second of the season.
