LOUISVILLE, Ky.—Bellarmine University announced today that the men's basketball game slated for Monday, Nov. 14 at 6 p.m. against Campbellsville University-Harrodsburg will be played in Knights Hall on campus and will feature free admission for Bellarmine students, faculty and staff as well as current season ticket holders. (No tickets will be sold to the general public.)
 
In making the 2022-23 schedule, the Bellarmine men's program wanted to host a non-conference game before hitting the road on an arduous segment of its schedule that includes games at Clemson, Duke, Loyola Marymount, UCLA and Kentucky. 
 
However, Freedom Hall isn't available during that time frame due to the North American International Livestock Exposition.  Therefore, Bellarmine opted to host the game in Knights Hall and limit the audience to only Bellarmine students, faculty and staff (and their immediate families) as well as current season ticket holders. 
 
"My goal (for hosting a Knights Hall game) was to thank each and every one of you for a night for the ages last March 8^th in Freedom Hall in the ASUN Conference championship," said Bellarmine Coach Scott Davenport.  "On Monday, Nov. 14 at 6 p.m. we want to express our gratitude, and we also want to inspire you to come out Dec. 4 at 4 p.m. in Freedom Hall to re-capture that same atmosphere as we move on through the rest of our home schedule."
 
To gain access to the game, Bellarmine community members need only to present their current, valid Bellarmine ID card at the gate.  Season ticket holders who are not Bellarmine employees will need to pick up their complimentary tickets the day prior to the game (Sunday, Nov. 13) from noon to 3 p.m. in the Knights Hall lobby.
