LYNCHBURG, Va. — Bellarmine swimming wrapped up its time at the CCSA Championships Saturday, a four-day event featuring 14 total men's and women's squads.
Daniel Sims provided the top finish of the day, earning sixth in the 200 breaststroke.
Andrew Nguyen finished 13
th in the same event.
Brandon Thomas touched the wall 12
th in the 1650 freestyle, while
Greyson Williams,
Keegan Henderson, and
Tyler Diercks finished 14, 15
th, and 16
th consecutively in the 200 backstroke final.
On the women's side,
Anna Holt raced to 14
th in the 1650 freestyle, while
Rachel Walker rounded out her final CCSA Championships finishing 17
th in the 100 freestyle.
Alexandra Pierce nabbed 18
th in the 200 backstroke
Individually, Bellarmine totaled 10 top-10 finishes this week, including nine from the men's squad.
Matthew Sims had the best finish, placing second in the 200 butterfly on Friday night.
Anna Holt recorded the best run for the women, placing fifth in the 200 butterfly.
The men's team broke a pair of relay program records, setting new high marks in the 200 and 800 freestyle relays.
Both teams round out their seasons at the National Invitational Championships March 10-12 in Elkhart, Ind.
