NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Bellarmine University women's cross country team placed seventh out of 12 teams on Saturday in the ASUN Championship at Percy Warner Park.
Sophomore
Sierra Oesterling has paced Bellarmine in each meet this season and capped the year by doing the same at the conference meet. She finished 26th and her 5k time of 18:05.49 ranks as the 24th best in program history and moved her up to 10th on the performance list (measures PR).
Senior
Anna Wells was next for Bellarmine in 40th (18:33.73), and she was followed by junior
Trisha Sexton in 42nd (18:37.91), junior
Taylor White in 53rd (19:05.18) and junior
Hannah Ellis in 66th (19:37.44) in rounding out the Knights' scoring.
Lipscomb (15) repeated as the ASUN champion. Kennesaw State (74) and Eastern Kentucky (88) were next. Bellarmine (197) was only three points back of sixth-place Queens.
