LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Sophomore Sierra Oesterling posted an all-time top-50 performance in pacing the Bellarmine University women's cross country team Saturday morning in the Live in Lou Classic at E.P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park.

Oesterling finished in 18:22.2 while placing 100th in the massive field of 325 in the esteemed Gold Race. Her time ranks 39th in the 5k in program history. Oesterling has led the Knights in all three of their meets this season.

Senior Anna Wells was next for Bellarmine, placing 155th in 18:46.3. Junior Taylor White followed in 192nd after finishing in 19:02.0.

Junior Trisha Sexton crossed the finish line next (206th, 19:07.3), and junior Hannah Ellis rounded out the Knights' top 5 (299th, 20:13.3).

Bellarmine also had competitors in the Blue Race, with Grace Mack (314th, 21:29.1) pacing the Knights in the event.

Bellarmine will compete Oct. 13 in Southern Indiana's Angel Mounds Invitational.
